Capes for Case

Red Brick Sewing is giving back.

Case is a 1 year old who has been battling cancer. (Shown here with his older brother.) From each cape sold this month, $10 will go to Case's family to help with the cost of this treatment. For more on his treatment, read the blog his mom has been keeping.

There are three Superhero styles to choose from. Each cape is reversible so the child can choose which hero they want to be. Capes have velcro closures for easy on and offs and to avoid choking is they get caught during their adventure. Capes measure approximately 24" measured down the center of the back. The Superman symbol is 5 1/2" tall. Custom capes are also available.

Bridesmaids Flowers

I worked with a bride do design these flowers to coordinated with her peach and gray colors for her wedding. She asked for gray flowers with inner peach centers. She also wanted to swap the beads for pearl centers and this is what the results look like. I hope her all the best on her special day!

Girlie Gift Sets

I created these two gift sets for a curious client. I loved how they turned out and wanted to share it with all of you. Both sets include a NEW item, the tutu onesie with leggings similar to baby legs. Tutu Onesies can be ordered for $12, but the leggings are custom to these sets. Enjoy!

Wedding Flowers

Lauren Chitwood Events contacted me to make some flowers for an upcoming wedding. I was sent the color palate and set free to create. Here are some pictures of the flowers that I created for them.

The order included solid colors and multicolored flowers.

Each of the beads was stitched on by hand.

Some of the colors were tricky to match so I mixed different colors of satin and chiffon to get the right look. I hope the bride is as happy with them as I am.

Little League Apron $15

It's Spring Training here in Arizona and for all of those out here that love baseball, I present the Little League Apron.

Like the Chuck Wagon Apron, this design is to help your little man feel comfortable in the kitchen or out at the grill getting ready for the double header. This apron features fabric by Alexander Henry. Like the other aprons it is fully lined and top stitched. Ties are reinforced for long time use.

There are three pockets across the bottom to store treasures.

Deluxe Diaper Keepers $15

Here is the latest update. I had a custom order come in from Singapore. She asked me to add some bells and whistles to the Diaper Keepers and I came up with this . . . the Deluxe Diaper Keeper.

The biggest difference in the Deluxe Diaper Keeper is the built in changing pad. Never be left without one again. The lining has been traded up for a polka dot minky material. The Changing pad measures 12" by 18" roughly.

It closes with velcro for ease. I make sure to use the soft side of the velcro on the changing pad so it doesn't grab on to your little ones hair or scratch them. In addition, I have added a loop that opens and closes with a snap. Now your Diaper Keeper can hang from your stroller or any other convenient spot. This can be made in any of the styles of Diaper Keepers, except the Limited Edition styles. Lily Style is shown. These sell for $15.

More New Purses

So I had a slew of custom purses to make. I love to share the results with you and if you love what you see and have to have one. Just email me and we will get it done.
This is the Hummingbird Purse. (Can you tell I am a little excited for Spring?!)

The second it the Jolene Purse. My instructions on this one was, "I want something dark, but bright." After some trial and error, we came up with this one. With the dark brown background and the bright flowers, this combo was a winner.

I have two new styles of the Amy Butler Birdie Sling purse. This one is the Devin design. It is bold and daring, not unlike the Devin I designed it for.

This one is the Ashley design. It goes with everything.

Monster bibs and Spring Diaper Keepers

A few new products to let you know about. First we have two new designs for diaper keepers.

They are called Abigail and Pastel Polka Dots. They sell for $6.99.

Next we have three minky bibs. All are made from a flannel print and are backed with minky. Minky is a super soft material that is very washable. They are very absorbent. Bibs measure 9" x 12" for full coverage. They have a velcro enclosure for easy on and offs. They sell for $ 5.99.

The first two designs are for those days when your little one is being a little monster.

This last design is more classic. If your little one is a bit more reserved, this one might be perfect for your next meal.

This bibs have been tested by moms and they will quickly become your favorite go to bib.

New Bibs! $5

This bib was designed for a mom of two pregnant with her first girl. Everyting from the soft pastel colors to the ultra plush materials scream, "I am a princess." You can't believe how soft this material is when you feel it.

These bibs are full coverage, 9" x 12". They have a velcro enclosures for easy on and offs. They are backed with flannel so they are super absorbent. I only have a very limited number of bibs. I am having trouble finding more of the pink material. If I do these will become a regular item, but until then I only have 3.

New Item! Mindy Purse

This is another great purse made from Amy Butler's Birdie Sling pattern. The purse measures 18" by 29" including the handle. It has a 4" gusset for serious storage.

This bag is constructed from 100% cotton materials. I use the heaviest interfacing I can find so the bag has a very sturdy feel. It is also lined with fleece so it has a plush feel as well. There are two large pockets inside that are fully lined. I can add a third cell phone pocket if you would like. No extra charge. Just let me know in the order.

I just finished this for a friend and I am in love with this fabric, but if you aren't, contact me and we can design something together.
